28mm vs 32mm DND Miniatures
Every MiniMayhemModels listing is printed to order in 28mm or 32mm. Both are 16k resin, unpainted, and ship with a free base. The difference is how large the sculpt sits on the table.
28mm miniatures
Choose 28mm for standard Dungeons and Dragons and Pathfinder scale. A 28mm humanoid matches most pre-painted plastic and older metal ranges. It is the usual pick for Lost Mine of Phandelver, Curse of Strahd, and most 5e dungeon crawls.
32mm miniatures
Choose 32mm when you want a larger heroic miniature. The sculpt is the same, just scaled up. 32mm reads better on camera, on a crowded battle map, and for display. The upcharge is small on most listings.
Which scale should you order?
- Match the rest of your collection. If your other DND miniatures are 28mm, stay on 28mm.
- Pick 32mm for bosses, dragons, and display pieces.
- Bases are included either way. Huge and gargantuan sculpts still use the listed base size.
